Bio

Mateusz has many years of experience working with law firms in Kraków, mainly providing corporate housekeeping and advising on litigation. He has also handled commercial company transformation and M&A deals. For many years, he was also an in-house lawyer at payment institutions. Mateusz has extensive experience in commercial, corporate, financial market, and real estate transaction law, and labor law practice.

He is registered as an attorney-at-law with the Cracow Bar Association, and studied at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University.

He is also a university lecturer.

Mateusz speaks English.

EBA guidelines on the limited network exclusion

On 24 February 2022, the European Banking Authority (“EBA”) published the Final Report on Guidelines on the limited network exclusion under PSD2 (EBA/GL/2022/02), which are new EBA guidelines on the limited network exclusion (LNE), allowing various service providers that use a limited network to determine whether they can continue to qualify this exception, which entails less stringent regulatory obligations.
