Małgorzata Kutaj

Małgorzata specializes in civil law, unfair competition law, and copyright law. At the Law Firm, she is on the Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Team. She has experience in handling disputes on trademark and design protection rights before common courts, including the EU Trademark and Community Design Court, as well as in litigation before the Polish Patent Office and EUIPO. She also represents Clients in disputes concerning personality rights and combating unfair competition. She deals with the issues of criminal law protection of intellectual property rights, handling numerous penal proceedings in this field and representing Clients before customs authorities.

She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University, and of the School of German Law functioning at the Faculty as a result of cooperation with the University of Heidelberg and the University of Mainz. She has completed postgraduate studies on copyright, publishing and press law organized by the Jagiellonian University, and postgraduate studies in Public Procurement Law, organized by the Department of Economic Policy at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University.
