The 5th Jubilee Forum of Electronic Media Law

Forum of Electronic Media Law will be held on 9-10 April 2019 in Opole.

This event is the largest Polish non-profit scientific conference. The conference is a periodical forum for exchanging thoughts and experiences between prominent scientists and practitioners of the topic. It is organised by scientists and representatives of the practice interested in electronic media law.

The main topics of this year’s edition will be:

• Blockchain
• Cybersecurity
• GDPR, e-privacy
• Artificial intelligence and autonomous vehicles

During the second day of the event, lectures will be given also by experts from our Law Firm. Paweł Podrecki, PhD Habil., Professor of the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences, will give a lecture during the “Cybersecurity, e-Administration” session entitled “Are new ways of protecting technologies needed?” while, Grzegorz Sibiga, PhD, will present the subject “Automation of activities in public administration – current state and development perspectives.”

During the “Personal Data, ePrivacy” session, Xawery Konarski, Attorney-at-Law, will discuss AI and privacy in the context of legal barriers.
