4th Personal Data Protection Conference. GDPR and the new Personal Data Protection Act – first months of applying the regulations
The fourth edition of the conference organised by the C.H. Beck Publishing House and devoted to the subject of personal data protection will be held in Warsaw on 22 November 2018.
This year’s meeting addresses problems with implementing the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation), issues related to the new Personal Data Protection Act, and amendments to the Labour Code regarding the processing and protection of employee data.
The Conference has been divided into three discussion panels:
- Practical problems with implementing GDPR
- Employee data processing and protection
- Exercising the competence of the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (UODO).
