Scientific symposium: “Intellectual Property in the Context of the Digital World”

A scientific symposium on “Intellectual Property in the Context of the Digital World” organised by the Polish Patent Office will be held on 21-22 June 2018 in the Bellotto hotel in Warsaw.

The programme of the symposium includes the following thematic panels:

• Possibilities of legal protection of intellectual property on the Internet;
• Legal boundaries of parody and criticism on the Internet;
• Effective protection of Internet domains and trademarks;
• Protection of intellectual property in computer games.

We are pleased to announce that on the second day of the event Prof. of the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences Paweł Podrecki, PhD, Habil. will participate in the discussion panel entitled “Effective protection of Internet domains and trademarks”.

The symposium is addressed to professionals in the area of intellectual property law, especially to lawyers and representatives of the scientific circles. Admission is free of charge.
