Postgraduate studies at the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences: Acting as Inspector for the Protection of Personal Data
7 October 2017 will be the inauguration day of postgraduate studies in Acting as Inspector for the Protection of Personal Data at the Institute of Law Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
The objective of the two-semester postgraduate studies in Acting as Inspector for the Protection of Personal Data is to educate individuals who prepare themselves to perform the function of inspector for the protection of personal data on the basis of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), which will come into force on 25 May 2018.
It is our pleasure to inform you that the lecturers include experts of the Traple Konarski Podrecki i Wspólnicy Law Firm: Xawery Konarski, Attorney-at-Law, Jan Byrski, PhD, Attorney-at-Law, and Grzegorz Sibiga, PhD, Attorney-at-Law, who is also Head of the Studies. Xawery Konarski, Attorney-at-Law, is a member of the Programme Board of the Postgraduate Studies.
Inspector General for the Protection of Personal Data and the Association of Information Security Administrators took patronage over the studies.
