Seminar: New Obligations of Financial Institutions under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
A seminar on New Obligations of Financial Institutions under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will be held in Warsaw on 8 February 2018.
The objective of the seminar is to discuss the provisions introduced by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (“GDPR”), which will come into force on 25 May 2018.
The seminar will be held by the experts from the Traple Konarski Podrecki i Wspólnicy Law Firm: Jan Byrski, PhD, Attorney-at-Law, and Karol Juraszczyk, Legal Advisor.
The event is organised by Instytut Szkoleń Prawa Bankowego.
Workshop: Strengthening the protection of trade secrets in accordance with the new Trade Secrets Directive

Training session: GDPR in the Insurance Sector
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will significantly change the rules for collecting and further processing personal data by entities operating on the insurance market, including such entities as: insurance companies, insurance brokers, outsourcing entities, etc.

Training session: GDPR in Operations of Payment Service Providers
“General Data Protection Regulation training cycle – a revolution from 25 May 2018” is a series of unique industry training events dedicated to the new European data protection law.
